Uncle Sam Will Pay 30% of the Installed Price of Energy-Efficient Furnaces and Air Conditioning Systems
Newer heating and air conditioning systems are more energy-efficient. If you install a qualifying furnace or air conditioning system, you can save 30% of its installed price off your Federal tax bill. Depending on the price of your system, you can save as much as $1,500. This tax credit is included in the "Economic Stimulus Act" of February 2009 and is being offered for a limited time.
